    Position Summary

    The VisiShip Solutions Manager is responsible for VisiShip which is a web-based software solution that is used by Heniff and other outside companies to manage their supply chain services. This position is a lead architect of the VisiShip deployments, documenting workflows, advising on best practices, and supporting the sales team. 


    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • The VisiShip Solutions Manager trains and support internal and external clients 
    • Responsible for overseeing and evaluating the application, implementation, maintenance, and support for the transload manager module primarily 
    • The VisiShip Solutions Manager supports the business unit super-users 
    • Provide product training via video chat, phone calls, and live training sessions 
    • The VisiShip Solutions Manager participates in application design, development, & testing support 
    • Develop & document best practice processes for VisiShip applications – Backup role Emery Industries
    • The VisiShip Solutions Manager develops standardized models for VisiShip deployments 
    • Provide technical support to sales for new opportunities 
    • The VisiShip Solutions Manager performs in-depth analyses of data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with the use of VisiShip 
    • Serve as a project manager for new system deployments and current system enhancements  
    • The VisiShip Solutions Manager chair the Transload Manager Team to drive process automation for the SBL client 
    •   The VisiShip Solutions Manager reports directly to the President & CCO Heniff Transportation Systems
    Requirements

    Education and Experience:

    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • 1 to 5 years of bulk transportation and/or rail transloading experience
    • Experience with computer software such as Microsoft Office, Teams
    • Experience in VisiShip software and TMW systems 
    • 1 to 2 years sales experience, preferred

    Position Summary

    The Transload Operator is responsible for unloading railcars to tank trailers as well as load and unload van trailers in and out of the warehouse in a safe and timely manner.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • The Transload Operator follows operational guidelines and procedures.
    • Convey and enforce compliance of procedures effectively.
    • The Transload Operator loads and unloads a variety of bulk liquid and dry products.
    • Operate railcar loading systems and equipment.
    • The Transload Operator participates in safety training programs.
    • Ensure tracks are locked out and blue flags placed before start of work.
    • The Transload Operator provides accurate track list of railcars on site with estimated product amounts.
    • Pull product samples from railcars per customer guidelines.
    • The Transload Operator keeps storage container neat and clean.
    • Assist with maintenance and clean-up.
    • The Transload Operator performs additional duties as required.
    • The Transload Operator directly reports to the Terminal Manager. 

    Requirements

    Education and Experience:

    • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent 
    • Must have a valid driver’s license

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Chemical Operator Experience
    • Warehouse Operations Experience
    • A valid Class “A” CDL with tank and hazardous materials endorsements.

    Position Summary

    The Terminal Operations Supervisor assists the Terminal Manager with all functional areas of the facility.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • The Terminal Operations Supervisor will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, termination of drivers, tank cleaners, and staff
    • Training & Orientation of drivers, tank cleaners, and staff
    • The Terminal Operations Supervisor coordinates as needed with shop foreman and wash rack supervisor to ensure equipment availability to meet dispatch needs
    • Coordinate with dispatch to identify resource needs and training & development needs are met
    • The Terminal Operations Supervisor ensures compliance with hours of service and other applicable Federal, State, Local laws and regulations as needed
    • Ensure compliance with published payroll guidance
    • The Terminal Operations Supervisor answers the telephone
    • Ensure both internal and external customers are treated with courtesy, discretion, and sound judgement
    • The Terminal Operations Supervisor will be responsible for other duties as assigned by Terminal Manager

    Position Summary

    The position is responsible for the performance of tasks associated with the cleaning of hazardous, non-hazardous and food grade tanker trailers, on-site remediation, clean-up, equipment de-contamination and handling of hazardous materials.


    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • The Tank Wash Technician ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
    • Operate light and heavy equipment including but not limited to pumps, compressors, boilers, bobcats, forklift, etc.
    • Tank Wash Technician handles various hand tools and powered industrial tools, including pressure washers.
    • Ensure proper use of equipment and immediately notify supervisor of any mechanical failure or problem of equipment.
    • Tank Wash Technician adheres to and ensure compliance with Health & Safety Compliance and regulations.
    • Wear and properly use a variety of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required. 
    • Tank Wash Technician assists in field sampling activities and calibration of meters.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned.
    • Tank Wash Technician reports directly to The Tank Wash Manager.

    Education and Experience:

    • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
    • Six or more months industry-related experience

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Experience with confined space entry (CSE) training
    • Experience with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) waste codes, manifesting and Land Disposal Restrictions (LDR) 
    • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals 
    • Ability to complete computer module safety training program including on the job training

    Work Environment:

    • Work in various temperatures indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions: including extreme heat and cold while wearing various levels of personal protective equipment.
    • Work with cleaning chemicals and wear appropriate PPE for the environment.

    Position Summary

    The Driver Payroll Specialist is responsible for ensuring all driver and carrier pay is calculated accurately and timely across the Heniff family of companies including Heniff Transportation Systems, Heniff Logistics, Carry Transit and Miller Transporters. This person is critical for ensuring a smooth weekly pay process for all of our terminals, Brokerage business, and for our Company and Owner Operator drivers.


    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • The Driver Payroll Specialist reviews applicable contractor settlements for accuracy using the TMW Software application.
    • Identify , escalate (when necessary), and resolve disputed issues with driver or carrier pay and handle concerns from employees and drivers.
    • Audit deductions for items such as fuel, escrows, insurance, and lease payments.
    • The Driver Payroll Specialist works with cross functional teams to ensure all urgent Driver Pay related issues are resolved on a timely basis ensuring that drivers have a positive experience with pay settlements.
    • Work effectively across multiple functions including Operations, Finance and other teams to ensure quality results.  
    • The Driver Payroll Specialist prepares settlement and other reports as requested.
    • Maintain financial security by adhering to internal accounting controls.
    • The Driver Payroll Specialist performs additional duties as required.
    • The Driver Payroll Specialist reports directly to the Manager of AP/AR.
    Requirements

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

    Position Summary

    This position is responsible for ordering Truck and Trailer parts for the organization, monitoring inventory levels, moving parts between shops, and returning parts to vendors as applicable. The role provides parts to technicians for the correct job being accomplished. In addition, the position properly annotates all parts, comments, and warranties in maintenance management software.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • The Parts Clerk orders and track parts needed by technicians daily
    • Assign parts to repair orders as necessary
    • The Parts Clerk receives parts from vendors and check invoices for accuracy
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of parts room
    • The Part Clerks ensures accuracy of invoices and delivery receipts
    • Perform other duties as required
    • The Parts Clerk reports directly to The Parts Supervisor
    Requirements

    Education and Experience:

    Position Summary

    Collections Specialist II is responsible for ensuring payments for services are collected from customers for a specified portfolio of accounts in excess of $ 8 million. The total portfolio amount responsibility exceeds $5M. Reconcile company A/R books to determine past due accounts. Work with Billing Department regarding invoice setup.    

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Reconcile customer payments between several company A/R books.
    • Resolve cash account balances within all company divisions; apply, refund, or transfer funds to a different company branch as needed. 
    • Partner with operational setup of a load that results in an invoice to ensure that invoice generated was created and sent to correct customer.
    • Partner with customers and customer 3rd party agents (CASS Processing Center, Transplace, CLX Logistics) to verify invoices past due have been received and are in line for payment.
    • Create and present to customers balance due invoices that have been short-paid. Resolve causes for customers’ short payments.
    • Maintain knowledge of EDI orders, ASN, invoice and the websites Heniff’s customers use, to resolve collection issues.
    • Maintain knowledge of ERS customers and reason(s) for customer over- or under-payment.
    • Maintain knowledge of intercompany activity with respect to invoicing and third-party customer billing.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    Requirements

    The Billing Specialist is responsible for the timely preparation of customer invoices in accordance with the billing process and procedures.

    • The Billing Specialist will be mailing of daily invoices.

    Responsibilities

    • The Compensation and Benefits Manager will partner with HR and Business Leadership to define, develop, communicate and execute a competitive total rewards strategy to include compensation, health and welfare benefits, 401k, paid time off programs, and other reward & recognition programs that are cost-effective and consistent with labor market trends and organizational objectives.
    • Manage the annual compensation process to include salary planning, merit budget, salary adjustments, internal equity reviews, annual incentive grants, and promotions; provide guidance and develop creative solutions on a variety of compensation matters including the setting of appropriate pay grades & FLSA status, defining and implementing salary structure ranges based on market data, and position leveling.
    • The Compensation and Benefits Manager will evaluate, redesign, and administer health and welfare, retirement, and leave benefit programs, including negotiating with insurance carriers and vendors, handling broker and vendor relationships, supervising annual renewals, and leading open enrollment, to increase effectiveness and impact of programs while ensuring coordination and understanding of programs and compliance with state/government regulations.
    • Develop and implement comprehensive and effective compensation & benefits communication strategies and trainings; build & maintain content for employees and candidates; serve as subject matter expert and escalation point to employees, managers, and HR Representatives for all Total Reward programs.
    • The Compensation and Benefits Manager will ensure adequate processes, controls, compliance reviews, and audits (including 401(k), Form 5500, etc.) are in place and are completed successfully for compensation and benefits programs; utilize job descriptions to perform FLSA audits in compliance with federal regulations to ensure proper classification of positions.
    • Establish, build, and maintain dashboards and reporting mechanisms to measure key compensation, benefits, and engagement data which validate total rewards program effectiveness and identify trends; analyze data and prepare reports as necessary for Board of Directors, Company Officers, Executive Team, and other leadership across the organization.
    • The Compensation and Benefits Manager will prepare and manage compensation and benefits program documents, including pay policies, incentive plan documents, etc.; ensure required documents are processed through payroll and carriers to ensure accurate recordkeeping and proper payroll deductions.

    Qualifications

    • 4+ years of experience in Compensation and Benefits roles with progressive growth and practical experience managing compensation, equity, and benefits programs in a high-growth, multi-state environment with multiple entities, office locations, and divisions, preferably in a transportation or blue collar environment.
    • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS), Certified Equity Professional (CEP), and/or Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) certification preferred.
    • Thorough knowledge of State and Federal wage and hour laws including FLSA, all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements both adopted and pending affecting compensation and benefits programs, including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, Workers Compensation, Medicare, HIPAA, and social security and DOL requirements.

    Position Summary

    Responsible for performing preventative maintenance, special inspections and general repairs on tractor and trailer units in accordance with DOT, federal and state regulations and Company standards.


    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • The Diesel Truck Mechanic will diagnose and repair tractors and trailers.
    • Perform annual/systematic 90-day inspection in order to ensure equipment meets federal FHWA standards.
    • The Diesel Truck Mechanic will perform the following on cargo tanks: internal, external, and upper coupler inspections, heat system, leakage, vacuum, pressure tests and vapor tightness test (EPA Method 27).
    • Determine the overall mechanical condition of tractors, trailers and associated equipment, diagnoses component malfunctions and initiates repair actions.
    • The Diesel Truck Mechanic will repair components by replacing worn or damaged parts with new or reconditioned parts.
    • Correct vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, brakes, hubs, bearings, seals, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, steering, hydraulics; control linkages, clutches, and traction units.
    • The Diesel Truck Mechanic will se technical publications or automated systems in maintaining vehicles to prescribed manufacturers’ maintenance schedules and for researching parts.
    • Properly annotate all maintenance and labor performed in maintenance management software.
    • The Diesel Truck Mechanic will operate a yard hostler truck to move trailers within the facility yard and the shop as needed.
    • Communicate the need to order and receive parts and supplies as needed.
    • Diesel Truck Mechanic will adhere to all established safety (OSHA) and environmental policies and standards to include identification, use, and proper procedures for handling or disposal of hazardous wastes.
    • Clean, organize, and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety.
    • The Diesel Truck Mechanic will perform welding repairs as needed.

    Position Summary

    Under general supervision from the Regional Maintenance Manager (RMM), manages the operation and maintenance of all the terminal’s tractors and chemical cargo trailers ensuring assets are maintained in accordance with federal (DOT), state and local regulations and Company policies.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Manage the shop facility in a safe, efficient, timely, cost effective, and practical manner and in compliance with OSHA regulations and Company polices.
    • Ensure and enforce all established safety policies and standards to include OSHA regulations and Company policies, and the identification, use, and proper procedures for handling or disposal of hazardous wastes.
    • Monitor and address all issues concerning corrective action of direct reports and employee performance while being accessible to all areas of the shop.
    • Plan daily staffing levels to meet workload.
    • Perform oversight of cost controls and the maintenance and repair of equipment assigned to the terminal; contribute to the Company’s revenue growth.
    • Determine the overall mechanical condition of vehicles and equipment; diagnose component malfunctions and initiate repair actions.
    • Properly annotate all maintenance performed on prescribed forms and enter data into TMT and other data collection systems.

      • The Dispatcher will maximize driver availability to fully utilize equipment in order to provide maximum revenue and profitability.
      • Review dispatch sheet and driver assignments to ensure all loads are dispatched.
      • Review all orders and process and/or distribute according to terminal procedure.
      • The Dispatcher will ensure timely and efficient movement of loaded trucks carrying various products.
      • Schedule loads and assign qualified drivers.
      • Enter load information into TMW system and prepare Delivery Receipts for each load.
      • The Dispatcher will provide documentation and communicate to drivers all pertinent information for scheduled load(s).
      • Initiate and maintain customer specifications.
      • Safety Date Sheets (SDS) for products hauled.
      • Review driver's Hours of Service Logs for available hours, and update hours in the computer as required.
      • Update and/or forward reports as directed by terminal management.
      • Perform all other duties as specified by the terminal or corporate management.
      • Incorporate measures to prevent waste and lost time.
      • The Dispatcher will effectively address concerns from employees and customers.
      • Ensure compliance with safety rules, including but not limited to those defined by OSHA and DOT.
      • Enforce and practice all safety rules of the Company and all government agencies, including but not limited to DOT and OSHA; monitor risk.
      • The Dispatcher will understand and follow established policies and procedures in emergency situations.
      • The Dispatcher/ Driver Manager will report to the Terminal Manager.


      Requirements


      Education and Experience:

      • Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.
      • Minimum 5 years of related experience
      • Familiarity with DOT and OSHA regulations
      • Some travel to corporate office and other locations
      • Willingness to work a flexible schedule
      • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving requirements

      Preferred qualifications:

      • Prior dispatch experience
      • Experience using TMW and PeopleNet systems
      • Tanker industry experience
      • Prior management/supervisory experience
      • Understanding equipment utilization and allocation

      Physical Demands:

      • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
      • May be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to feel; reach with hand and arms, and stoop, kneel or crouch as needed.
      • May be required to lift 50 lbs.
      • Specific vision requirements include the ability to see at close range, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

      • The position typically operates in a standard office environment.
