  • Job Title: Senior Analyst - Financial Planning & Reporting 
    Department: Financial Planning Reporting & Analysis

    Position Summary:

    The Senior Analyst – Financial Planning, Reporting and Analysis is a key role within the Chief Financial Officer’s organization. This role is responsible for the design, development and maintenance of management reports as well as developing and communicating impactful analyses of financial results and key performance indicators that drive management decision making. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to extract and link data from multiple sources, report results and attribute results to specific operational conditions. This person must have outstanding communication skills and have the executive presence to work with senior managers, executives and private equity investors.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop and maintain management reports by extracting data from multiple sources, validating and normalizing data while ensuring accuracy and consistency of management reports.
    • Collaborate with financial and operational resources to ensure the management reports accurately and consistently depict the financial information and key performance indicators deemed useful by senior executives.
    • Apply deep analytical skills to attribute results to specific operational conditions across a multi-divisional business enterprise.
    • Maintain reports for business units, legal entities and the consolidated enterprise (including the intercompany elimination data) for all historical operating periods.
    • Collaborate with operational leaders to develop projected synergies on key projects, quantify the results and maintain accurate records and metrics to validate the timing and cumulative impact of those synergies.
    • Collaborate with financial leaders to develop and maintain detailed records of unusual or non-recurring costs to be reported as adjustments to normalize operating cash flows.
    • Collaborate with financial and operational executives to develop and validate assumptions for key drivers of financial projections. Develop and maintain financial forecast models for annual plans for each business unit and for the consolidated company.
    • Analyze and report actual monthly results, variance analyses and any updates and adjustments to annual plans for each business unit.
    • Collaborate with financial and operational exectuives to prepare/deliver executive and board-level presentations of plans, forecasts, actual results and
    • Collaborate with financial and operational leaders to report monthly results to executive management and investors
    • Periodically perform due diligence and financial analyses on acquisition and investment opportunities and assist in the financial integration of those investments post-closing.

    Job Requirements

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Analytics preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with equivalent work experience
    • Advanced skills in data management, data analytics, report writing and related software platforms such as Excel, Tableau, SQL, Jet Reports and Jet Analytics.
    • Targeting individuals with 4 to 7 years of financial planning, reporting and analytical work
    • Understanding of accounting principals.
    • Experience working in a financial institution, investment fund or a portfolio company of a private equity investment fund preferred.

  • Job Title: Driver Settlements Specialist
    Department: Accounting
    FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
    Status: Full Time
    Reports To: Driver Pay Manager

    Position Summary

    The Driver Settlements Specialist is responsible for ensuring all driver and carrier pay is calculated accurately and timely across the Heniff family of companies including Heniff Transportation Systems, Heniff Logistics, Carry Transit and Miller Transporters. This person is critical for ensuring a smooth weekly pay process for all of our terminals, Brokerage business, and for our Company and Owner Operator drivers.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Review applicable contractor settlements for accuracy using the TMW Software application.
    • Identify , escalate (when necessary), and resolve disputed issues with driver or carrier pay and handle concerns from employees and drivers.
    • Audit deductions for items such as fuel, escrows, insurance, and lease payments.
    • Work with cross functional teams to ensure all urgent Driver Pay related issues are resolved on a timely basis ensuring that drivers have a positive experience with pay settlements.
    • Work effectively across multiple functions including Operations, Finance and other teams to ensure quality results.
    • Prepare Settlement and other reports as requested.

    · Maintain financial security by adhering to internal accounting controls.

    • Perform additional duties as required.

    Job Requirements

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite applications including Word, Outlook and Excel
    • Minimum 5 years of related experience
    • Prior experience in driver settlements and pay
    • Willingness to work a flexible schedule
    • Preferred qualifications
    • Experience using the TMW system

  • Job Description

    Job title: Billing Clerk
    Department: Billing/Finance

    Reports to: Billing Manager

    Position Summary
    The Billing Clerk is responsible for the timely preparation of customer invoices in accordance with the billing process and procedures.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Bill freight charges to customer accounts.
    • Validate backup documents related to billing such as Purchase Orders (PO’s), Bills of Lading (BOL’s), scale tickets, freight paperwork, etc. against the order for invoicing.
    • Maintaining accurate billing for customers.
    • Bill monthly storage.
    • Maintain personal invoicing queues while adhering to company deadlines.
    • Process invoices via upload and/or key entry into various customer websites used by each customer for manual invoice submission.
    • Follow up on ebilled invoices to ensure status on customer websites continues to progress to paid status.
    • Manage rejected invoices for assigned customers.
    • Review billing mailbox daily.
    • Mailing of daily invoices.
    • Printing of invoices, TMT, Depot service, and Great Plains (GP) integration.
    • Develop and maintain a professional relationship with team members.
    • Work with customers to answer billing questions and resolve any billing issues.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned.

    Job Requirements

    Education and Experience: 

    • High school diploma or GED
    • Minimum 2 years billing experience
    • Experience using s MS Word, Excel, Outlook,  and Great Plains software

    Preferred qualifications

    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
    • Experience in Transportation with Chemical companies
