    The Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for managing the Company’s technology backend network and cloud infrastructure. The role helps design, implement, manage and service Heniff’s networks and critical systems. Additionally, this role collaborates closely with other team members, both within the Infrastructure team, and with other IT teams. 


    Duties and Responsibilities:  

    • Assist in deploying, monitoring, and maintaining all production Azure servers, data storage, and services to ensure smooth operation. 
    • Help lead the support of the Windows Server Operating System and associated Windows based technologies, including routine updating and patching. 
    • Lead and provide support to restore service, identify root cause, and implement solutions to prevent service outages. 
    • Monitor key performance indicators and implement enhancements to improve/maintain performance/productivity at acceptable levels. 
    • Identify opportunities to document and automate tasks. 
    • Partner with Application Development Team and other Infrastructure team members to support and improve infrastructure performance, stability, and availability acting in an advisory capacity with regards to specifications related to related administration. 
    • Collaborate with IT personnel to explain errors and/or recommend modifications to systems and networks. 
    • Research, identify, and resolve business-impacting application and/or cloud service issues 
    • Ensure service reliability by implementing, maintaining, and monitoring disaster recovery solutions 
    • Perform other duties as assigned. 

    Requirements

    Education and Experience:  

    • Bachelor’s degree in a related?area or?relevant?job experience? 
    • Experience using Microsoft Software applications such as?Microsoft SQL, Windows?Office?Suite,?and SQL Management Studio 
    • Hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop management and device management via Intune 
    • Experience with Cisco / Meraki networking components, including switches, routers, and firewalls.? 
    • 5 years?of?experience working in a?hands-on infrastructure role?with at least 2?years of Azure cloud experience  

    Preferred Qualifications: 

    • Microsoft Certified:  Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) 
    • Microsoft Certified:  Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty (AZ-140) 
    • Microsoft Certified:  Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700) 
    • Experience with Powershell automation 
    • Experience deploying and managing Azure App Service instances.
