    Location: Position will work between Channelview and Pasadena TX terminals. 

    Monday-Friday, Day Shift


    Position Summary

    This position is responsible for repairs and required maintenance of all Tank Wash equipment. The role inspects, troubleshoots, diagnoses and performs maintenance on equipment. 

    Duties and Responsibilities: 

    • Repair and replace tank wash equipment in a commercial environment, including pumps, motors, spinners, valves, air compressors, etc.
    • Perform safety inspections on all equipment and prepare safety documents and equipment condition reports required by federal law, OSHA, or Company Policy. 
    • Interpret work orders and technical manuals in English.
    • Test repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure the work meets manufacturer’s specifications and legislated regulations.
    • Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide solutions to keep operations moving 
    • Prioritize work and follow through with repairs.
    • Travel within Texas is required.
    • Perform other duties as required.

    Education and Experience: 

    • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or a combination of education and experience 
    • Must have a minimum of one year industrial equipment maintenance experience and/or completion of a trade school industrial equipment maintenance program; or equivalent combination of education and experience

    Requirements

    Essential Qualifications and Requirements:   

    • Demonstrate specific knowledge of tank wash repairs in a commercial environment, including pumps, motors, spinners, valves, air compressors, etc.
    • Must be able to use hand and power tools 
    • Must be able to read and understand testing and measuring tools
    • Must show confidence in repair work and take responsibility for the completed work
    • Must be at least 21 years of age
    • Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
    • Must have own tools
    • Must have a valid Driver’s License
    • Ability to keep current with technology and updates
    • Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals
    • Demonstrate proficiency to write out repair orders
    • Possess verbal and written communication skills and strong listening skills

    Language Skills 

    • Must read, write and speak English proficiently

    Physical Demands:  

    • Must be able to perform maintenance and repair task on equipment.
    • Must be able to repeatedly lift and carry heavy objects.
    • Must be able to lift 10 -70 lbs. if required by essential functions of the job.
    • Must be able to perform maintenance and repair tasks on equipment.
    • Must be able to climb, stoop, twist, bend, reach, push and pull.
    • Must be able to grasp and use hand and power tools.
    • Must be able to hold and manipulate nuts, bolts and assorted fasteners in tight and awkward positions.
    • Must be able to stand on concrete floor for up to 10 hours per day.
    • Must be able to climb and descend a straight rung ladder mounted vertically to a height of 13 feet.
    • Must be able to wear protective equipment including hand, face, body and eyes specifically related to mechanics.
    • Must be able to have the strength and stamina required to work on heavy equipment and work in awkward positions.
    • Ability to operate in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

    Work Environment:  

    • Shop may be susceptible to climate like outdoor weather. 
    • Majority of work is located in the field.
    • Frequent exposure to loud machinery, air tool operation, hammering and engine noise.
    • This position includes some travel under normal circumstances.
    • This position works in confined spaces.

    3rd Shift 10pm-6:30am, Monday-Friday

    Position Summary
    The position is responsible for the performance of tasks associated with the cleaning of hazardous, non-hazardous and food grade tanker trailers, on-site remediation, clean-up, equipment de-contamination and handling of hazardous materials.
    Duties and Responsibilities:
    • The Tank Wash Technician ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
    • Operate light and heavy equipment including but not limited to pumps, compressors, boilers, bobcats, forklift, etc.
    • Tank Wash Technician handles various hand tools and powered industrial tools, including pressure washers.
    • Ensure proper use of equipment and immediately notify supervisor of any mechanical failure or problem of equipment.
    • Tank Wash Technician adheres to and ensure compliance with Health & Safety Compliance and regulations.
    • Wear and properly use a variety of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required.
    • Tank Wash Technician assists in field sampling activities and calibration of meters.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned.
    • Tank Wash Technician reports directly to The Tank Wash Manager.
    Education and Experience:
    • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
    • Six or more months industry-related experience
    Preferred qualifications:
    • Experience with confined space entry (CSE) training
    • Experience with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) waste codes, manifesting and Land Disposal Restrictions (LDR)
    • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals
    • Ability to complete computer module safety training program including on the job training

    Work Environment:
    • Work in various temperatures indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions: including extreme heat and cold while wearing various levels of personal protective equipment.
    • Work with cleaning chemicals and wear appropriate PPE for the environment.
    • Work in potentially elevated noise levels, confined spaces, including lifting in areas of low clearance. Working at elevations including working from ladders and scaffolding up to eight feet above ground.
    • Periodically perform work in other areas of the facility as directed by the Shift Leader or Facility Management.
    • This position couples and uncouples tractors/trailers.
    • This position drives a yard tractor, moving units to specified areas.

    Position Summary

    The Terminal Manager is responsible for promoting strategic business growth, customer retention, customer satisfaction, and markets the services of the company. This position ensures compliance with all applicable safety rules and regulations. Additionally, the role manages terminal personnel.


    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • The Terminal Manager will recruit, interview, hire, and train new staff.
    • Provide positive coaching and counseling to personnel.
    • The Terminal Manager oversees the daily workflow of the terminal.
    • Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
    • The Terminal Manager handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
    • Encourage involvement in the quality process toward the goal of continuous improvement.
    • The Terminal Manager ensures appropriate financial management for location and meet company goals.

    Requirements

     

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite applications including Word, Outlook and Excel
    • Minimum 5 years of related experience 
    • Staff supervision experience
    • Familiarity with DOT and OSHA regulations
    • Experience managing a location of similar scope
    • Prior experience as a dispatcher or driver
    • Some travel to corporate office and other locations
    • Willingness to work a flexible schedule
    • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving requirements

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Experience using the TMW system

    Position Summary
    Responsible for monitoring repair orders for possible warranty. Tracking any warranty collected on parts or service. The warranty module in Trimble TMT system will be used to pull reviewable warranty items. When doing in house service dealer sponsored warranty all communication of the warranty cost and billing will be handled by the warranty manager. 
    Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Review repairs to find missed or possible warranty. 
    • Coordinate warranty repairs with dealers.
    • File proper warranty documentation with any service warranty and track billing of the warranty claim with dealership sponsor
    • Monitor parts usage and returns that may be warrantied. Communicate with the shops regarding possible warranty.
    • Maintain warranty module in Maintenance Software to provide accurate reporting. 
    • Organize findings and present reports to management. 
    • Use technical publications or automated systems in maintaining correct warranty limits, process, procedure, and status. 
    • Properly annotate all maintenance and labor performed in maintenance management software.
    • Communicate the need to order and receive parts and supplies as needed.
    • Adhere to all established safety (OSHA) and environmental policies and standards to include identification, use, and proper procedures for handling or disposal of hazardous wastes.

    Position Summary

    Responsible for performing preventative maintenance, special inspections and general repairs on tractor and trailer units in accordance with DOT, federal and state regulations and Company standards.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • The Diesel Truck Mechanic diagnoses and repair tractors and trailers.
    • Perform annual/systematic 90-day inspection in order to ensure equipment meets federal FHWA standards.
    • The Mechanic performs the following on cargo tanks: internal, external, and upper coupler inspections, heat system, leakage, vacuum, pressure tests and vapor tightness test (EPA Method 27).
    • Determine the overall mechanical condition of tractors, trailers and associated equipment, diagnoses component malfunctions and initiates repair actions.
    • The Mechanic repairs components by replacing worn or damaged parts with new or reconditioned parts.
    • Correct vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, brakes, hubs, bearings, seals, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, steering, hydraulics; control linkages, clutches, and traction units.
    • The Mechanic uses technical publications or automated systems in maintaining vehicles to prescribed manufacturers’ maintenance schedules and for researching parts.
    • Properly annotate all maintenance and labor performed in maintenance management software.
    • The Mechanic operates a yard hostler truck to move trailers within the facility yard and the shop as needed.
    • Communicate the need to order and receive parts and supplies as needed.
    • The Mechanic adheres to all established safety (OSHA) and environmental policies and standards to include identification, use, and proper procedures for handling or disposal of hazardous wastes.
    • Clean, organize, and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety.
    • The Mechanic performs welding repairs as needed.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned.
    • The Mechanic reports directly to The Shop Supervisor. 

     

    Requirements

     

    Education and Experience:

    • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
    • Experienced in the use of inspection and test equipment used for cargo tank inspections

    Essential Qualifications:

    • Demonstrated knowledge of vehicle and equipment theory, principles, and repair relating to diesel engines, air, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
    • Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (49CFR HM180.407).
    • Knowledge of tractor and trailer maintenance, DOT rules and regulations, company policies and procedures
    • Ability to use vehicle diagnostic software

    Language Skills:

    Physical Demands:

    Position Summary

    The Tank Wash Manager is responsible for all aspects of the facility including, but not limited to: safety practices, environmental compliance, personnel management, equipment maintenance, and customer service. This position is responsible for ensuring that safe, high quality cleaning methods are in place. Additionally, the role manages Tank Wash employees. 

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • The Tank Wash Manager manages staff to include selection, work allocation, training, coaching and mentoring, problem resolution, performance evaluation and feedback, and corrective action.
    • Ensure personnel abide by the rules and regulations related to safety and environmental matters.
    • The Tank Wash Manager produces quality work for the customer.
    • Manage and utilize equipment.
    • The Tank Wash Manager ensures that maintenance program is strictly followed. 
    • Consult with Regional Tank Wash Manager on maintenance matters.
    • The Tank Wash Manager ensures that the assigned site terminal and equipment are maintained, clean, and neat.
    • Identify areas of the cleaning rack that can be expanded to increase utilization of the fixed facility.
    • The Tank Wash Manager identifies cleaning racks with additional capacity and seek to fill it by selecting suitable cleaning partners.
    • Advise and consult with the Regional Tank Wash Manager on service problems.
    • The Tank Wash Manager monitors site terminal’s service levels to ensure the best possible service.
    • Report results via standard operating format.
    • The Tank Wash Manager ensures understanding and consistent application of Company policies.

    • Ensure that employee safety and comfort are maintained, and that the property's equipment is maintained and operated per contracted guidelines
    • Support incremental and project moves by relocating furniture, equipment, and boxes as needed.
    • Participate in emergency response procedures, technical training programs and safety training programs as required.
    • Coordinate and oversee work performed by third-party vendors
    • Demonstrate the ability to be on stand-by and to assist with afterhours emergencies
    • Respond to employee service requests
    • Collect Human Resources topics for newsletters, compose the newsletters, and work with the editor

    Position Summary

    The position is responsible for the performance of tasks associated with the cleaning of hazardous, non-hazardous and food grade tanker trailers, on-site remediation, clean-up, equipment de-contamination and handling of hazardous materials.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • The Tank Wash Technician ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
    • Operate light and heavy equipment including but not limited to pumps, compressors, boilers, bobcats, forklift, etc.
    • Tank Wash Technician handles various hand tools and powered industrial tools, including pressure washers.
    • Ensure proper use of equipment and immediately notify supervisor of any mechanical failure or problem of equipment.

    Position Summary

    Responsible for performing preventative maintenance, special inspections and general repairs on tractor and trailer units in accordance with DOT, federal and state regulations and Company standards.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • The Diesel Truck Mechanic diagnoses and repair tractors and trailers.
    • Perform annual/systematic 90-day inspection in order to ensure equipment meets federal FHWA standards.
    • The Mechanic performs the following on cargo tanks: internal, external, and upper coupler inspections, heat system, leakage, vacuum, pressure tests and vapor tightness test (EPA Method 27).
    • Determine the overall mechanical condition of tractors, trailers and associated equipment, diagnoses component malfunctions and initiates repair actions.
    • The Mechanic repairs components by replacing worn or damaged parts with new or reconditioned parts.
    • Correct vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, brakes, hubs, bearings, seals, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, steering, hydraulics; control linkages, clutches, and traction units.
    • The Mechanic uses technical publications or automated systems in maintaining vehicles to prescribed manufacturers’ maintenance schedules and for researching parts.
    • Properly annotate all maintenance and labor performed in maintenance management software.
    • The Mechanic operates a yard hostler truck to move trailers within the facility yard and the shop as needed.
    • Communicate the need to order and receive parts and supplies as needed.
    • The Mechanic adheres to all established safety (OSHA) and environmental policies and standards to include identification, use, and proper procedures for handling or disposal of hazardous wastes.
    • Clean, organize, and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety.
    • The Mechanic performs welding repairs as needed.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned.
    • The Mechanic reports directly to The Shop Supervisor. 

     

    Requirements

     

    Education and Experience:

    • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
    • Experienced in the use of inspection and test equipment used for cargo tank inspections

    Essential Qualifications:

    • Demonstrated knowledge of vehicle and equipment theory, principles, and repair relating to diesel engines, air, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
    • Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (49CFR HM180.407).
    • Knowledge of tractor and trailer maintenance, DOT rules and regulations, company policies and procedures
    • Ability to use vehicle diagnostic software

    Language Skills:

    • Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently

    Physical Demands:

    • Use arms to reach and stretch; hands and fingers to grasp, move, or assemble objects of a variety of sizes, and to also manipulate a variety of objects, tools, devices, and controls.
    • Use legs to stand for long period of time, maneuver through shop environment, and perform a variety of locomotive functions which may include crawling, kneeling, crouching, sitting, and carrying or relocating objects weighing up to 75 lbs.
    • Perform broad locomotive motions, at times in a rapid fashion, such as bending, twisting, balancing in stable and unstable positions, and reaching, with the capacity to use bodily muscles to sustain these motions for long periods of time without fatigue.
    • Perform fine locomotive motions, at times in a rapid fashion, that involve the use of fingers for the manipulation of tools.
    • Adjust, execute, maintain, and repeat all bodily motions, postures, and stances in order to accommodate to rapid and gradual changes within the work environment as necessary.
    • Visually identify and focus on objects at close and distant ranges, and at central and peripheral locations, with the ability to identify their distances, depths, and colors in environments of varying lighting.
    • While looking forward, see objects or movements that are off to the side.
